    Marriage 26th January, 1953 to Smt. Indira Devi (deceased since 1988) 
    One daughter- Smt. Bharti Sharma.
    Profession Appointed Lecturer in Hindi Department, Calcutta University in 1953. Retired as Professor from Calcutta University on 2nd May 1994.
